Author on the Lawn -- SUCCESS!!

Our 2nd "Author on the Lawn" event, which occurred in the Main Library due to inclement weather... was a wonderful success!  Thank you to Peter Kerasotis and Tom Wasdin for sharing Coach Wasdin's stories and anecdotes.  You can see the photos from the event here: http://www.floridatoday.com/picture-gallery/life/style/on-the-town/2014/08/19/on-the-town-photos-brevard-library-foundations-author-on-the-lawn/14276783/

We will be announcing our next Event in the coming weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  1) By "duo-tang folder", we mean the folder with the three brads in it to bind the paper.  No need to staple them when bound in the folders.

 2) Only the text should be in the binder.  Keep the submission form separate.

3) There is no requirement as to where the 30 pages are from in a larger work.  Typically, one would expect the first 30 pages of the larger work, but it is up to the author to decide.

4)  With the exception of Children's Literature, ALL genres are encouraged to submit!
