Brevard County Library

Seeking Donations

The Brevard Library Foundation is proud to honor our visionary founder and past Board of Directors’ President, Catherine Schweinberg Rood who  passed away in September. A Memorial Garden is being planned with the help of a local landscape architect, Susan Hall. All donations will go directly towards the development of this project. The timeline for completion is May, 2017.

Author On The Lawn Event

Inspirational and Engaging

This event featured Rachel Hauck, an award-winning, bestselling author of critically acclaimed novels such as The Wedding Dress and the Wedding Chapel. Signed copies of both of these books were made available to all attendees at the event.

Her talk was engaging as she shared her experience of working in the corporate software world before becoming a full time writer in 2004.

The setting for the event was held in the garden room, at the Central Library. Indeed, this successful event was filled with enchantment amongst the setting of champagne and beautiful roses, making it a perfect setting for an inspirational evening.
