Rebekah Lyn, author of Jessie has been selected to receive our Inaugural Literary Award.  Please join us as we celebrate her work as part of our Author on the Lawn series here at the RiverHouse.




Saturday, Feb 28 beginning at 6pm.

Mad About Bling 2014!

Mad about Bling 2014 is just a memory now... a very fond memory of good food, great entertainment and wonderful supporters and sponsors!  The Foundation would like to thank our sponsors as well as our guests who came out to support us as we continue on our mission to keep books in the hands of children.

Author on the Lawn -- SUCCESS!!

Our 2nd "Author on the Lawn" event, which occurred in the Main Library due to inclement weather... was a wonderful success!  Thank you to Peter Kerasotis and Tom Wasdin for sharing Coach Wasdin's stories and anecdotes.  You can see the photos from the event here:

Patrick D. Smith Memorial Books

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Smith's family has asked gifts be made in his honor to the Foundation.  You may do this by making your donation via our "donate" link.  Please make a note regarding this designation when you complete your donation.  A book plate will be placed in each book in his memory.
