Books
for Children
Infancy is the critical time when an individual forms the core of conscience,
developing the ability to trust and relate to others. This lays the
foundation for lifelong learning and thinking.
It's the Brevard Library Foundation's goal to assist the library system
in providing a safe and nurturing environment where parents and children
have access to the highest quality reading materials. The foundation
is working to purchase more books for children age 10 and younger. So
far we have raised enough money to buy more than 10,000 new books for
youngsters.
Each gift of $20 to the foundation will provide one book for our libraries,
and those making a donation can designated that their gift honor a loved
one or friends.
Your name as a donor and the person(s) memorialized will be placed on
a bookplate on the inside front cover of the book(s). A copy of the
bookplate also will be placed in a binder kept on public display at
each library. Click here if you would like
to donate one or more books to our libraries.
