Urgent Request- March, 2013!
Please help us replace our Mobile Library Generator.
The Brevard Library Foundation was founded in 1999 to seek private sector support for our Library System. With tax caps, diminishing state and federal funds, and the increasing costs of materials and supplies, cutbacks are inevitable if new sources of funding are not developed.
The Foundation was formed to ensure that our Public Libraries can not only continue to meet the present needs of our community, but grow to accept the new challenges that we will face in the coming years. Donations to the Library Foundation are tax-deductible as provided in Section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
Goals of our Foundation include:
- Improving the library's collection of books (especially for children)
- Helping our libraries to become "state of the art" so that its services can be enjoyed by all
- Providing additional library services as needed by the community
Towards these goals we Solicit Donations for immediate needs as well as endowments that will assure the future health of our library system.
This website will acquaint you with our current projects, the different ways that you can help, and the tax benefits that your generosity can produce. Please don't hesitate to Contact Us if you have any questions.
